Loading SCA module definitions

SCA modules can be used to represent a wide range of SOA components. These represent the business processes, combinations of mediations and most assembled components provided by tools such as WebSphere® Integration Developer and supported on WebSphere Process Server.

About this task

SCA modules and their dependencies are loaded into WSRR as an SCA integration module. There are two forms supported that can be generated from the tools:

  • EAR file for server deployment - this is an EAR file that can be deployed onto WebSphere Process server.
  • Command line service deployment - this is a .zip file that contains the SCA module and its dependencies.

These SCA integration modules contain a number of documents that are used to define the module SOA metadata.
