When you have modified the documents that already exist
in WebSphere® Service Registry
and Repository (WSRR), you can update them to WSRR by using the Eclipse
UI.
Before you begin
Before you can publish documents to WSRR, you must have
installed and configured the Eclipse user interface.
Note: You are
allowed to update documents if they come from the current WSRR instance
or from a different file system.
About this task
To update a document to WSRR, perform the following actions.
Procedure
- Switch to the Resource perspective.
- In the Navigator view, select and right-click the document
that you want to update, then click . The message
dialog box is displayed, click Yes. The Publish
a Document To WSRR wizard is displayed.
- In the wizard, check that the correct name is shown in
the Name field and the correct document type
is shown in the type field.
- Click OK. When the document has
been published to WSRR, a confirmation message is shown.
Results
The document is now updated in WSRR. You can verify the document
is stored by retrieving it by using the WSRR Content view. For more
