As IBM Support Insights (IBM SI) continues to evolve, here are the details of the application's current progress.

Fixed issues and upgrades

Following is a list of improvements and new implementations in the application.

General improvements

  • The assets widget in the Inventory management page of the application is now re-designed, with better visual distribution of the inventory in the respective coverage categories.
  • Submitting change requests now has a date picker allowing users can select their desired effective date for the requested change, along with a searching option for address, site ID and customer number.
  • A new column is available in the change requests export file - termination reason.

Known issues and limitations

Following is a brief outline of usability constraints or challenges in the current version of the application.

Area Issue Workaround
Inventory management - General The values in the Uncovered section of the Hardware coverage widget could contain duplicates. To be fixed in a future release.

As a temporary workaround, you can export the data and have the duplicated values removed based on the devices' serial number.

Inventory management - General The values in the Vendor recommended OS versions column are not searchable while in View services table mode. To be fixed in a future release.
Risks & Recommendations - General Some OS/Firmware alerts might be missing if multiple data collection methods are used. To be fixed in a future release.
