As IBM Support Insights (IBM SI) continues to evolve, here are the details of the application's current progress.
Fixed issues and upgrades
Following is a list of improvements and new implementations in the application.
Expanded lifecycle analysis for hardware and firmware
- IBM Storage firmware data is ingested into IBM SI and users can now identify and address the risk when firmware levels are below recommended.
- Cisco and Check Point equipment end-of-support events are now available in IBM SI for further analysis and remediation.
Enriched contracts and maintenance data experience
- The application's available global filters selection is expanded with the introduction of the 'Contract sold by' field - available also for filtering the asset details tables across the Inventory page of IBM SI.
- Contract and warranty details available in the application are now augmented with data from IBM Entitled Systems Support (ESS) .
Virtual assistant upgrades
- Natural language processing is now utilized by the IBM SI chatbot, enabling it to recognize typos, misspellings, and acronyms, thus improving user interactions.
Known issues and limitations
