Release notes - August 2023

As IBM Support Insights continues to evolve, here are the details of the application's current progress.

Fixed issues and upgrades

Following is a list of improvements and new implementations in the application.

Optimized support metrics experience

  • A refined Case History table view is introduced with the removal of the Region column, whose contents previously often overlapped with those of neighboring columns.
  • A new data point is now also added to the Case History table - Case type - displaying the type of service for the support case (e.g. preventative maintenance, installation, break/fix, etc).

Back-end upgrades

  • The application's loading speed is significantly improved following a codebase refactoring.
  • A new geo location database is implemented, providing a better experience when editing assets' location data - a more accurate geo-city relation, faster loading of available site options, unique city-municipality identifiers.

General improvements

  • A watsonx.ai-based chatbot is now added to the application, allowing users to leverage the capabilities of AI when in need of swift in-app assistance.
