Release notes - February 2023

As IBM Support Insights continues to evolve, here are the details of the application's current progress.

Fixed issues and upgrades

Following is a list of improvements and new implementations in the application.

Future contracts are now implemented in the assets coverage calculation logic. Currently covered assets' expiration date will be the end date of their future service line item. And currently uncovered assets will be shown as covered at the start of their future service line item.
When sorting has been applied on any of the tables within the application - the sorted column is now visually marked as such, along with the sorting order.
When a selection of assets was previously made and sorting is applied - the selection persists.
More columns are now available for view customization purposes, such as Hostname and IP address.
Editing assets is made easier, with the Street address and Location fields being pre-populated in the editing pop-up, when available.
Truncating asset names, when they are too long to be visualized in full on screen.

Following is a list of limitations and known issues in the current version of the application.

Inventory management - Asset list	Priority is not displayed for some hardware components.	To be fixed in a future release.
Inventory management - Coverage	When drilling down into a particular asset group, the count of assets in the circle diagram does not update accordingly.	To be fixed in a future release.
Risks & Recommendations - Affected inventory	Some assets in the Affected inventory table are missing an Overall risk score.	To be fixed in a future release.
Risks & Recommendations - OS/Firmware	Some OS/Firmware alerts might be missing if multiple data collection methods are used.	To be fixed in a future release.
Risks & Recommendations - Hardware lifecycle	The chart's months distribution is misaligned visually.	To be fixed in a future release.
Risks & Recommendations - Hardware lifecycle	When selecting All product families from the dropdown on the top right-hand side, the bar chart disappears.	To be fixed in a future release.
Administration - Users	Users with an apostrophe in their names cannot be added.	Add the user by manually removing the apostrophe.
Administration - Users	Bulk users load cannot be performed with mix-case e-mail IDs.	Make sure all e-mail IDs in the template are lower-case.
