Fixed issues
Following is a list of improvements and new implementations in the application.
Viewing and editing assets
- Editing assets is now made smoother with current property values being displayed in the Edit dialog window. If editing multiple assets, only identical property values are shown.
- When using the Edit dialogue window to change an asset’s properties, the newly saved values are now immediately available in the Global filter options.
- The Coverage section of the asset details page is now enriched with additional contract details including a Sold by field.
- Changes made to assets' properties via the Coverage page are now immediately reflected across the entire application.
General improvements
- More columns are now made available in the asset tables across IBM Support Insights, providing users with access to a wider range of details regarding their inventory. Details about assets' Warranty, Service level and Service type can now be displayed in every assets table in the Inventory section of the application.
- Exported files' names are made consistent across the application, and now contain the client's account name, the page the report was generated on and a timestamp of when the report was generated.
- After filtering the asset table, clicking the
Export allbutton now triggers an export download which contains the filtered subset of assets. - Users assigned a viewer role for a client account can now edit asset tags via the asset tables and via a specific asset's page.
- The asset status labels on the Changes page are now updated to
Added,RemovedandUnchanged, adding up to a better user experience.
Known issues
The following limitations and known issues apply to IBM Support Insights. Each known issue contains a description, some contain a currently available work-around.
