Online Maintenance Management (OMM)

The Online Maintenance Management (OMM) application has been sunset, and key features have been merged into IBM Support Insights.

In the pages in this section, former OMM users may become familiar with what IBM Support Insights offers in terms of OMM legacy features, as well as in terms of providing a clear view of what needs attention in the context of their inventory.

The Online Maintenance Management (OMM) application allowed users to make inventory changes for their contracts online. As soon as any contract and inventory changes were made and had taken effect, they were reflected automatically back into IBM Support Insights if the client was onboarded using contractual data. Now, the changes can be submitted, and take place, in IBM Support Insights entirely.

Bear in mind that certain application roles are required in order to perform OMM actions in IBM Support Insights. For details on user roles, please see the designated docs section.
