Monitoring apps and agents

View and monitor the list of discovered apps and agents in the Inventory page after connecting IBM® Guardium® Exposure Manager to cloud accounts and after installing IBM Guardium Exposure Manager agents.

The discovered apps and agents are listed in a table in the Apps and agents tab of the Inventory page. The table provides the following details and insights about the discovered apps and agents:

To verify if the apps or agents reported from the endpoints are trusted or untrusted, go to the trusted destination page and either allow the apps or agents or review the current settings.

Name

Name of the app or agent identified during discovery. The name of the app can also be derived from a device that is reporting to IBM Guardium Exposure Manager from an installed device agent.

Type

The category of the app or agent (for example, database agent, monitoring app, or security agent).

First discovered

The date and time at which the app or agent was first discovered by IBM Guardium Exposure Manager.

From the Apps and agents tab of the Inventory page, when you click any app or agent listed in the table, you can find additional information on the side panel that opens in the following sections:

Details

The type of the app or agent.

Metadata

The date and time at which the app or agent was first discovered.
