Viewing and modifying link validity status
You can modify the link validity status such as setting a link as valid, invalid, or suspect, based on your role-based permission.
Changing link validity requires role-based permissions that are configured in a Project Area or Team Area. Set the role-based permission on the Permissions page. The model elements or the Rhapsody files exist in an SCM component. Hence, the owner of the SCM component determines which Project Area or Team Area needs to be configured with the new link validity role-based permission.
For links to remote artifacts, an icon is displayed next to the link to reflect the current validity status of the link. If you hover over the icon, options are provided for modifying the validity status.
Note: If you do not see link validity icons, verify that the Show Link
Validity option was enabled for the project area (See Display link validity information).
