Creating custom dashboards

Dashboards in IBM® Maximo® Renewables help you visualize key metrics. You can personalize them by creating custom layouts and adding widgets to meet your monitoring needs.

Before you begin

Ensure that you have administrative access to IBM Maximo Renewables and that you can log in.

Procedure

  1. On the IBM Maximo Renewables landing page, from the side navigation menu, click Dashboards.
  2. To open the dashboard editor, click Personalize.
  3. To create a new dashboard, click the Add icon.
  4. Enter a name for your dashboard.
  5. To add widgets, click the Add Charts icon.
    1. On each widget that you want to add, click the plus icon.
    2. Click Apply to confirm and add widgets to the dashboard.
  6. To configure a widget, click the gear icon on the widget. Repeat the process for all widgets
  7. Optional: Click Add sections to add a section to the dashboard to group the widgets
  8. Click Save to save your dashboard.
  9. To edit an existing dashboard, from the Dashboard list select your dashboard and click the Edit icon.
    • Modify parameters or add new widgets as needed.
    • Click Save to save the changes to the dashboard
  10. To rearrange tiles, click and drag tiles to reposition them and then click Save to apply changes.
