Adding Manage assets

Add assets to monitor and analyze performance in Maximo® Renewables

1. In Maximo Renewables, from the side navigation menu, click CMMS Master > Asset Master.
2. To add an asset, click Add.
3. From the Project list, select the project to link the asset.
4. In the Name field, enter the asset name for identification in searches and reports.
5. From the Sub Classification list, select the appropriate classification.
6. Enter the Maximo Manage Asset information same as in Maximo Manage.
7. Click Save to store the details.
8. Note: Add plant as an asset in Maximo Manage.
   Add the plant as an asset to handle plant level work orders.
9. You can add asset details in bulk with file upload feature.
   1. Click Filter.
   2. In the Search section, select the appropriate Project.
   3. Click Search to get a list of assets in the project.
   4. Click Download, for a spreadsheet file (.xlsx) with list of current assets in the project.
   5. Update the spreadsheet with asset details, also include the Maximo Manage Asset information.
   6. Click Upload.
   7. In the File Upload dialog, open the updated spreadsheet.
   8. In the Import Assets dialog, click Save and the list of assets is imported.
