After you have created a connection
to a Tivoli® Change
and Configuration Management Database (CCMDB) repository and synchronized,
you can find the CCMDB configuration items (CIs) in the Rational® Asset
Manager repository by searching for remote assets.
Procedure
- In the Rational Asset
Manager Web
client, click Assets.
- On
the Search for Assets page, click the Change
Search Scope button next to the search text field and
check Search remote assets.
- (Optional) Type one or more keywords into the search text
field.
- Click the Search for assets button
or press Enter.
- Assets
that have been created as a result of synchronization
with CCMDB have specific asset type and category. You can filter your
search by choosing the following search filters:
- Type: Configuration
Item
- Category: CCMDB
