-S

In z/OS® XL C/C++, the -S option produces an assembler source file for C source that is compiled with the -qmetal compiler option. -S is only valid when -qmetal is specified.

In Open XL C/C++ for z/OS, neither -S nor a -qmetal equivalent compiler option is supported.
