Creating API keys by using the Mesh console

Create an API key to authenticate requests to the Mesh API, including requests made by using the palmctl CLI.

Procedure

  1. Click Manage > API Keys on the navigation panel.
  2. Click Generate API key.
  3. Enter a name for your API key, then click Generate API key.
  4. Click Copy.
    Tip: After you copy your API key, you need to store it securely. You can't recover your API key from the API keys page. If you lose your API key, you might need to delete it and create a new one.

Results

The API key is created.

If you want to delete an API key, click the Delete icon Trash icon for the API key in the API keys page.
