Specifying large object truncation size for subscription applying to Cloudant

The large object truncation affects the maximum size of large object data that will be included in the Cloudant® document. You should set this property to as small a size as possible while still retaining enough of the data from the large columns to meet your business needs.

1. Click Configuration > Subscriptions.
2. Right-click on a subscription and select Cloudant Properties.
3. Enter the truncation point for large character data in the Character data (# characters) box.

   The default value is 8000.

4. Enter the truncation point for large binary data in the Binary data (# bytes) box.

   The default value is 8000.

5. Click OK.
