Kerberos configuration updates

If your Kerberos environment requires configuration changes, you can update the Netezza Performance Server Kerberos configuration to ensure that authentication continues to operate as expected.

If you receive new Kerberos configuration (krb5.conf) or keytab (krb5.keytab) files, you can replace the ones in /nz/data/config with the latest versions. The new files are used for the next user authentication request.

If the Kerberos realm or KDC information changes, you can run the SET AUTHENTICATION command and specify the new values to make those values take effect.

After you change the Kerberos configuration, you should create a new host backup using the nzhostbackup command to capture the latest configuration.
