Deployment option: Netezza Performance Server for Cloud Pak for Data System
Note:
- Netezza Performance Server 11.3.1.2-IF1 is compatible with Cloud Pak for Data System 1.0.8.5 and later.
- Netezza Performance Server upgrade is recommended from Netezza Performance Server 11.2.1.13/14 and 11.3.0.2-IF1.
- Downgrading from Netezza Performance Server version 11.3.1.2-IF1 to 11.2.1.X is not supported.
- Kerberos authentication is currently not supported through the console.
- HPUX and Solaris client packages are not available starting from version 11.3.0.2-IF1.
- User table metadata must be validated and corrected as a mandatory pre-upgrade activity. For more information, see Before you begin upgrading to Netezza Performance Server 11.3.1.2-IF1 or later.
- UDX recompilation, SQL extension, and Inza reinstallation require post-upgrade steps.

This is a Netezza Performance Server 11.3.x feature that requires an additional table to be created after the upgrade. To enable this feature, contact IBM Support.
- HISTDB cleanup—"relation does not exist" error
The following error during cleanup is expected for Netezza Performance Server 11.3.x if the required history table has not been created. To enable this, contact IBM Support.
