Netezza Performance Server 11.0.3.1 release notes
Deployment options: Netezza Performance Server for Cloud Pak for Data System
Version 11.0.3.1 provides enhancements, stability fixes related to container deployment, Postgres, backup and restore and failover.
Note: After a new Netezza Performance Server software is released, you must upgrade
your system within a month. IBM supports downgrading only to a previous version of the latest
release.
Enhancements and improvements
- NFS mounts
- Added preservation of NFS mounts during host failover. For more information, see Mounting NFS share to the host container.
Resolved issues
- Fixed Precision range error for numeric data types, when backupset from IBM® PureData® System for Analytics is restored on Netezza Performance Server.
- Fixed issue which prevented non-admin user from performing an SPU reboot during Netezza Performance Server restart.
- Stability fixes for SPU and disk failover cases.
- Fixed issue where scheduler rule functionality was broken.
- Fixed issue with JDBC connection issue where System.getProperty("sun.java.command") returns
NULL. - Removed the
nzresolvservice from the Netezza Performance Server container, because when the service is used, it breaks DNS settings. - Fixed issue in dependencies in user defined libraries, stored procedures, functions, cross database access.
- Fixed issue in data loading in query prolog table for audit history.
- Fixed issue where stored procedure arguments and return values are of
NUMERICdatatype, with precision and scale not specified. - Fixed issue related to precision and scale for numeric column, called through built-in functions.
- Fixed the EXECUTE AS: permission denied on. error in EXECUTE AS sql with row secure queries.
- Fixed the ERROR: Invalid input syntax for type json error in casting of
VARCHAR,CHARorBPCHARtoJSON. - Fixed crash in incremental backup/restore.
- Fixed the CREATE AGGREGATE: error updating aggregate error caused by cache lookup problem for aggregate functions.
