To install the NPS Cartridge Manager (nzcm), carry out the following steps.

  1. Use the unzip utility (not gunzip) to unzip the file:
    nz-analytics-vversion.zip
  2. Ensure that the active user on the host is nz.
  3. From the command line, run the installation script by issuing the following command:
    ./inzaPackageInstaller.sh
Log files for the installation process stored in /nz/var/log/.
  4. Follow the instructions displayed by the installation script. The script extracts all of the files in the package and installs the NPS Cartridge Manager (nzcm).
  5. After the nzcm utility is installed, the script prompts you to specify whether the repository configuration is to be reset. Do not reconfigure the repository configuration if the configuration was previously changed and the modifications must be kept. Otherwise, reconfigure the repository configuration. For more information about the nzcm Repository Configuration, see "Repository Configuration."
  6. You may also want or need to make changes to the bashrc file. For example, by default, the nzcm utility points to current. If the nzcm files are stored elsewhere, adjust this setting in bashrc.
