Starting the collection of history data

To start the collection of history data, issue the SET HISTORY CONFIGURATION command to change to a history configuration that collects data.

To start the collection of history data:
  1. Issue the SET HISTORY CONFIGURATION command for a history configuration that specifies the value QUERY or AUDIT for its HISTTYPE parameter, as described in Creating history configurations
  2. Activate the new history configuration by stopping and restarting the system, that is, by issuing the nzstop and nzstart commands.
For example:
SYSTEM.ADMIN(ADMIN)=> SET HISTORY CONFIGURATION hist2_on;
SYSTEM.ADMIN(ADMIN)=> \q
nzstop
nzstart
