You can synchronize the default prompt template values for an object store with the
latest version of the prompt templates that the Content Assistant service uses.
About this task
When you register an object store with the IBM® Content Assistant service, the value of the default
prompt templates from the Content Assistant service reflect on the
GenAI configuration object within the object store.IBM may update the default prompt template
values from time to time. If you did not override the default prompt templates, it is possible for
the values in the GenAI configuration object to go out of date. To make sure that the object store
uses the latest prompt template values, you need to resynchronize the GenAI Configuration object for
the object store in Content Platform Engine.
However, if you specified a custom value for the
default prompt templates, then the updates to the IBM default prompt templates do not override your
settings.
