Tuning IBM Content Assistant

You can tune the Content Assistant throughput for vector indexing and summary generation for each object store where the Content Assistant is enabled.

You can manage the Content Assistant throughput by configuring custom sweep jobs to process existing document content.

Note: For better throughput and performance, do not run the summary generation custom job sweep and the vector indexing custom job sweep at the same time.

Tip: Starting with Content Platform Engine 26.0, you can open the Gen AI Configuration object for the selected object store directly from Administrative > Content Assistant > Gen AI Configuration.
