Downloading the activity log

You can download a list of account activities to JSON, CSV, XML, Excel, HTML, or PDF format.

Before you begin

Make sure that your user permission is set to View activity log.

About this task

The activity log file contains data by activity, user, date, and time for the most recent 90 days. If you need more detailed information, you can send a GET request to the /v1/account/activity IBM® NS1 Connect® API endpoint.

You can download the activity log from the NS1 Connect dashboard or from the Activity log page.

Procedure

  1. Choose where you want to download the activity log from:

    To download the activity log from the dashboard
    1. If you are not already on the dashboard, click IBM NS1 Connect on the upper left portion of the application.
    2. Scroll down the dashboard to the Latest activity section.
    To download the activity log from the Activity log page
    1. Click Observability > Activity log.
  2. Click the Download button.
  3. Select the file format in which you want to download the list of activities.
  4. Click Download.

What to do next

Locate the downloaded file where your computer stores downloaded items.
