To temporarily stop a monitoring job from checking endpoints for the latest up or down status, you can pause a monitoring job. After pausing it, you can resume it when you're ready to continue checking the up/down status of your endpoints.
Before you begin
- You must have the Edit monitoring jobs permission enabled.
About this task
When a monitor is paused, IBM® NS1 Connect® does not check the health of the endpoint for its latest up/down status.
Procedure

Click Monitors.

Click the name of the monitoring job you want to pause or resume to view details, or click the overflow menu next to the monitoring job and select Edit.
You can use the filter options to narrow the search results by the monitoring job name or by the type of monitoring job.

Do one of the following:
- To pause the monitoring job, toggle the Monitor paused switch to the off position.
- To resume the monitoring job, toggle the Monitor paused switch to the on position.

Click Save changes.
