Deleting an alert

Deleting an alert permanently removes it from your IBM® NS1 Connect® account.

Before you begin

Make sure that you have the permissions and features for the type of alert that you want to delete. Refer to Create an alert for details about the permissions that you need.

About this task

When you delete an alert, the list of stakeholders or systems that is attached to the alert remains in NS1 Connect for use with other alerts.

Procedure

  1. Click Alerts.
  2. Locate the alert that you want to delete.
    To locate an alert, you can use the Search feature. You can also click the Open filters icon to narrow the list by the alert type or event type, by notifier list, or by the date that the alert was created.
  3. Click the Delete icon of that alert.
    A message opens indicating that the action cannot be undone.
  4. Click Delete.
