Working with command-line tools

Tivoli Netcool®/Impact offers command-line tools for a number of actions, which are described in the following sections.

Note: If command-line tools stop working because the host name contains an underscore, the issue can be fixed by editing the <SERVER>_wsadmin.props file in the $IMPACT_HOME/etc directory. Change the host name to the IP address.

Note: On Windows, Powershell is unsupported as a command line interface for running Impact scripts. The Windows Command Prompt (DOS) should be used instead.
