Scope-based event grouping properties

Scope based event grouping includes configurable properties that allow for the modification of the behavior of the grouping function and also the appearance of the synthetic containment events.

These scope-based event grouping properties are in the ObjectServer table master.properties table. Some of the properties relate to how the grouping is done and are applied at the time an event is inserted, or at the time the ScopeID of an event is set. Other properties relate to how the events are processed and updated after grouping is done. The following lists provide details on what each property does, and what values each one can accept.

You can modify the default values by using the Netcool/OMNIbus Administrator . For more information about modifying values, see Using Netcool/OMNIbus Administrator to configure ObjectServers .
