Input, output, and communication channels

These routines support communication channels for input of data and for output of messages.

CPXXaddfuncdest and CPXaddfuncdest
The routine CPXXaddfuncdest/CPXaddfuncdest adds a function msgfunction to the message destination list for a channel.
CPXXdelfuncdest and CPXdelfuncdest
The routine CPXXdelfuncdest/CPXdelfuncdest removes the function msgfunction from the list of message destinations associated with a channel.
CPXXdeserializercreate and CPXdeserializercreate
Creates a de-serializer that de-serializes data from a block of memory.
CPXXdeserializerdestroy and CPXdeserializerdestroy
Destroys a de-serializer that was created by CPXXdeserializercreate/CPXdeserializercreate.
CPXXdeserializerleft and CPXdeserializerleft
Accesses the number of bytes left in a de-serializer.
CPXXdisconnectchannel and CPXdisconnectchannel
The routine CPXXdisconnectchannel/CPXdisconnectchannel flushes all message destinations associated with a channel and clears the corresponding message destination list.
CPXXflushchannel and CPXflushchannel
The routine CPXXflushchannel/CPXflushchannel flushes (outputs and clears the buffers of) all message destinations for a channel.
CPXXflushstdchannels and CPXflushstdchannels
The routine CPXXflushstdchannels/CPXflushstdchannels flushes the output buffers of the four standard channels cpxresults, cpxwarning, cpxerror, and cpxlog.
CPXXgetchannels and CPXgetchannels
The routine CPXXgetchannels/CPXgetchannels obtains pointers to the four default channels created when you call the routine CPXXopenCPLEX/CPXopenCPLEX.
CPXXgetlogfilename and CPXgetlogfilename
The routine CPXXgetlogfilename/CPXgetlogfilename accesses the name of the current logfile.
CPXXmsg and CPXmsg
The routine CPXXmsg/CPXmsg is deprecated in CPLEX V12.9.0. Instead, use CPXXmsgstr/CPXmsgstr. For a simple way of transitioning, see the steel.c example code.
CPXXmsgstr and CPXmsgstr
The routine CPXXmsgstr/CPXmsgstr sends a character string to a CPLEX message channel.
CPXXserializercreate and CPXserializercreate
This routine creates a new serializer.
CPXXserializerdestroy and CPXserializerdestroy
Destroys a serializer that was created by CPXXserializercreate/CPXserializercreate.
CPXXserializerlength and CPXserializerlength
Queries the size of the memory block currently used by the serializer ser.
CPXXserializerpayload and CPXserializerpayload
Queries the internal memory buffer used by ser.
CPXXsetlogfilename and CPXsetlogfilename
Sets and opens the log file.
