CPX_KAPPA_ATTENTION
Concert Technology enum: KappaAttention
Numeric meaning: (double):
To access a score of numerical difficulties for a CPLEX MIP solve.
The score is an aggregate of the fractions of ill-posed,
unstable, and suspicious bases encountered during branch-and-cut.
Specifically, the score is computed as the sum:
attention = ill-posed + 0.3 * unstable + 0.01 * suspicious.
When this value deviates from 0 (zero), caution is advised. However, depending on your model, values of 0.03 or so may still not be of great concern. Your knowledge of the expected numerical quality of the model under consideration should influence your interpretation of attention level.
This feature is available only for simplex-based algorithms
when the parameter CPX_PARAM_MIPKAPPASTATS is set and after
CPLEX has processed at least one LP-basis during the solve.
Integer meaning: not applicable
- Ill conditioning about linear programs (LP)
- MIP kappa: detecting and coping with ill-conditioned MIP models about mixed integer programs (MIP)
