DBCS Plane -- DBCS Only

The DBCS plane contains double-byte character set (DBCS) attribute data for each character and field attribute in the presentation space. The DBCS character attribute values are described in the 'Character Position' column of the table below. The position of the DBCS character attribute data corresponds directly to the respective character in the Text Plane. The DBCS field attribute values are described in the 'Field Attribute Position' column of the table below. The position of the DBCS field attribute data corresponds directly to the respective field attribute in the Field Plane.

The meaning of the DBCS plane attribute values are as follows:
