IMS Tools Common Pauser issues messages that can help you understand the state of the interface and help you resolve errors.

Message format

IMS Tools Common Pauser messages adhere to the following format:

where:

FOI
Indicates that the message was issued by IMS Tools Online System Interface or IMS Tools Common Pauser.
01nnn
Indicates the message identification number. IMS Tools Common Pauser uses message numbers in the range of 01000 - 01999.
x
Indicates the severity of the message:
A
Indicates that operator intervention is required before processing can continue.
E
Indicates that an error occurred, which might or might not require operator intervention.
I
Indicates that the message is informational only.
W
Indicates that the message is a warning to alert you to a possible error condition.
