Listing installed maintenance packages

You can display a list of the maintenance packages (both domain installation packages and maintenance packages) that are installed on your system.

About this task

When you display the installed maintenance packages, the following information is provided:

  • APAR ID
  • Package description
  • Package installation status
  • Package installation date
  • Package installation time

Procedure

  1. From the Maintenance Management panel, select option 5 (List installed maintenance packages), and press Enter.

    The List Installed Maintenance Packages panel is displayed.

  2. To view the contents of the maintenance package, type the V (View) row action on the package row, and press Enter.

    The List Installed Policies and Rules from Package panel is displayed.

    Important: If you are installing Policy Services for the first time, you cannot view PM99999 or PM13447 because a later APAR (PM41959) replaced all objects that were shipped in APAR PM99999. None of the objects in APAR PM99999 were installed. Instead, the following message is issued:
    There are no objects installed from the selected part PM99999.
  3. Press End (PF3).

    The List Installed Maintenance Packages panel is displayed.

  4. Press End (PF3).

    The Maintenance Management panel is displayed.
