Enabling debug installation and configuration logging on AIX®

If you want the installation or uninstallation log to show debug messages, you can turn on debug logging.

1. Log into the reference computer; that is, the computer on which the configuration manager will be started.
   Enabling debugging from this computer also enables debugging on all target hosts listed in this configuration manager.
2. Go to the location where the product's installation or removal program is, and then enter the following command:

   IBM_CM_LOGLEVEL=7
   export IBM_CM_LOGLEVEL

3. Run the Content Manager Enterprise Edition configuration manager.
