KPIs

You can configure Vegetation Management to monitor specific key performance indicators (KPIs) across your service area.

Default KPIs

You can monitor KPIs at each boundary level. Boundary levels represent the hierarchy of your service area.

You can monitor different KPIs at each level and configure each KPI based on your vegetation management needs. KPIs are used to calculate your vegetation scores, priority scores, and recommended actions.

KPI Definition Levels
Avg vegetation height (ft) Average vegetation height within an area. This KPI does not consider areas without vegetation. Territory, Region, Corridor, Corridor segment
Max vegetation height (ft) Maximum vegetation height encountered in a specific area. Territory, Region, Corridor, Corridor segment
Vegetation coverage (%) Percentage of an area that is covered by vegetation. This KPI can be used to quantify lateral vegetation encroachment. Territory, Region, Corridor, Corridor segment
Trees > X ft (%) Percentage of trees that are taller than X feet. Corridor, Corridor segment
Trees within X ft of lines (%) Percentage of trees that are taller than X feet. Corridor, Corridor segment
Min 3D distance to wire Three-dimensional distance from the edge of the vegetation to the wire. The wire is added as a buffer. Corridor segment
Min 2D distance to wire Two-dimensional horizontal distance from the edge of the vegetation to the wire. The wire is added as a buffer. Corridor segment
Average vertical distance (ft) Average vertical distance from the wire to the vegetation. Corridor segment
Length of asset (ft) Length of the asset. Corridor segment
Area (ft) Total area of the asset. Corridor segment
Wire height if available Height of the wire Corridor segment
Segment length Approximate length of the corridor segment with vegetation. Corridor segment
