File upload

If you have configured for File Upload, you can access the File Upload button from the bottom of any Outbox View (Outbox Summary, Outbox Detail, or Document Outbox), or you can select File Upload from the Options drop-down list.

Procedure

To upload a file using File Upload, complete the following steps:
  1. Access File Upload from either an Outbox View or the Options drop-down list.
    Note: If you access File Upload by clicking File Upload on the Outbox View, make sure that your Google Toolbar is disabled or it will block the File Upload pop-up window.
  2. In the File Upload panel, next to File, click Browse to locate the file you want to upload to Sterling Document Tracking.
  3. Select the file and click Upload.
  4. If your upload is successful, you will see a confirmation message with the batch number of the file you selected. Click Close Window to return to your Outbox View.
  5. In the Outbox View, verify that your uploaded file appears at the top of the list.
    Note: You might have to change the end date/time range at the top of page of your Outbox View to see the file you just uploaded.
