Error 0402

The interchange was not delivered to the intended receiver. The 0402 error occurs when a customer is using UCS or X12 data, has multiple groups within an interchange, and one of the groups after the first group is missing the GS segment.

Correcting 0402

To correct Error 0402, follow these steps:
  1. Correct the group header segment problem.
  2. If you have questions about your translation software, call your translation software vendor.
  3. Send the interchange again.
