Error 0308

Data delivered to receiver? No

The interchange was not delivered to the intended receiver. It did not conform to the data standard you used. The interchange had one of these errors:
  • GS functional group header segment's Version ID (GS08 data element) is missing.
  • For UN/EDIFACT data, the version is missing from the UNG or UNH segment.
  • For TRADACOMS data, the version is missing from the MHD segment.

Correcting 0308

To correct Error 0308, follow these steps:
  1. In the trading partner profile of your translation software, verify the Version ID (GS08 data element) is correct. If you have questions about your translation software, call your translation software vendor.
  2. Correct the Version ID (GS08 data element) in the GS, UNG, or UNH segment, as appropriate.
  3. Send the interchange again.
