The interchange was not delivered to the intended receiver. It did not conform to the data standard you used. An ISA interchange header segment did not contain information in the Receiver ID Qualifier (ISA07 data element).

Correcting 0217

To correct Error 0217, follow these steps:
  1. In the partner profile table of your translation software, verify the Receiver ID Qualifier (ISA07 data element) is correct. If you have questions about your translation software, call your translation software vendor.
  2. Correct the trading partner profile.
  3. Correct the interchange.
  4. Send the interchange again.
