Viewing trading partner details

A company administrator (admin) or can add, edit, or view the connections in detail in the Trading partners connections list page.

About this task

You can:
  • Edit, lock, or delete the connection.
  • Sort the connections list in the ascending or descending order by clicking a column heading.
  • Unlock and transfer the connection for editing.
Use the search functions on the Connections list page to refine the search results. The search is not case-sensitive. Therefore, you can enter any part of the connection name. Use the Filter function to refine the results according to business alias.
The Trading partner list page includes the following information:
Connection name
The name you input that represents the trading partner when you first create the profile for the connection setup with this partner.
Connection type
The setup for this connection is private or public. A private connection is set up to receive or send data between the trading partner and your company. A public connection is set up to receive or send data between the trading partner and your company. And you can share a public connection among others associates within IBM Sterling B2B Integration SaaS.

If your connection is of the hybrid type, the Connection type field displays the hybrid icon.

Filter
Filters the trading partner connections according to business alias.
Direction
The direction of the connection you set to receive data from or send data to Configuration Hub.
Owned by
The creator for this specific connection. This is useful especially when you use the connection from other trading partners.
Protocol
This field displays the protocol. If you have not set the connection type as hybrid, the protocol is set to API.
Status
Shows whether the connection is working in progress, in production or in pending.
