Updating map descriptions

A company administrator (admin) can update the description for a map when the map is not checked out.

Before you begin

On the Mapping page, after you select a map, a company administrator (admin) can update the map description. You might want to update the map description to make it distinctive or to modify the identifying characteristics.

Procedure

  1. From the side navigation menu, select Company resources > Mappings. Then, select a map to view its map details, including the description.
  2. On the Map details page, you can view the current Map description.
  3. If you are a company administrator (admin) , click the pencil icon to edit the Map description.
    The Edit map description modal is displayed, showing the current map description.
  4. Update the Map description text.
  5. Click Save to save the updated map description.
