Discarding SSL certificate edits

As a user, company administrator (admin), or a representative of IBM Support team, you can discard the edit for an SSL certificate.

Before you begin

Important: The discard edit feature is applicable for only those SSL certificates that are in the Work in progress status and have not been deployed to Customer Test Environment (CTE). Unless you are company administrator (admin) or from IBM Support, you can discard the edit for only those SSL certificates that you own.

About this task

When you need to undo the changes and edits you made to an SSL certificate that you own, use the following steps to discard the changes.

Procedure

  1. From the side navigation menu, select Company resources > Keys and certificates. Then, on the SSL certificates list page or the Trading partners SSL certificates list page, select the Action options menu, and click Discard.
  2. On the Confirmation window, click Discard.
    The version is decremented to the last deployed version. For example, if your SSL certificate version was 2.1, it reverts to version 1.1.
    Attention: If the SSL certificate is in version 1.1, then it is deleted.
