Cloning envelope configurations

You can clone an envelope configuration to copy all its underlying properties. Then, you can create a new name and deploy it to the select environments.

About this task

Sometimes, you might need to copy all the contained envelope properties and create another envelope. You can use the cloning feature to create another envelope by duplicating a selected envelope. Then, you can choose to deploy it to the selected environments.

Procedure

  1. From the side navigation menu, select Transformations > Envelopes.
  2. On the Envelopes list page, use the Action options menu for the selected envelope to select Clone.
  3. Optional: Select another business alias from the drop down.
  4. Input a name for the new envelope.
  5. Optional: Provide a description.
  6. Click Clone.
    Your envelope is now cloned. The existing deployment configurations follow the cloned envelope, as well.
