Viewing SSL certificate details

You can click the SSL certificate name to access its details.

Certificate information

You can switch between the Production and CTE tabs. For each of the environments, a history of your SSL certificates is available. As a business user, you can view and download a version-specific SSL certificate asset.

After deploying your SSL certificate to production, you can use the Production and CTE tabs to look at the version histories of deployment.

The page displays the following information.

Field name Description
Status The status of your SSL certificate. Shows Final after you deploy the SSL certificate to production.
CTE business alias Displays the name of your company in CTE.
Production business alias Displays the name of your company in the production environment.
CTE reference ID Displays the keystore ID that you created when you deployed your SSL certificate in the CTE.
Production reference ID Displays the keystore ID that you created when you deployed your SSL certificate in production.
Owned by Displays name of the user that owns the SSL certificate.
Reason for checkout Displays the reason to change the SSL certificate from a variant type to a nonvariant type, or the other way around. If you did not change the certificate type, this field remains blank.
Show usage Displays in tabular format a list of outbound connections that have access to the system certificate, along with the information about their protocols and versions.

Additional information

Field name Description
Certificate description Displays the description you input for the SSL certificate.
Certificate type Displays whether the certificate is variant or nonvariant.
Certificate shareability
Note: This field displays for only trusted certificates.
This field displays whether the certificate is exclusive or shareable.
Reason for changing the certificate type Displays the reason that a user might have switched the certificate type.

Production and CTE tabs

The CTE tab displays the following information.

Field name Description
Deploy to CTE Displays the date and time of the deployment.
Deploy to production Displays the date and time of the deployment.
Modified by Displays the name of the user that last modified the certificate.
Expiration date Displays the date that the certificate expires.
Issuer Displays the name of the person that issued the certificate.
Description Displays the description.
Certificate assets If you are an administrator, or the owner of the certificate, you can download the environment-specific public certificates.
Keystore password
Note: This field displays for only system certificates.
Displays the keystore password.
Private key password
Note: This field displays for only system certificates.
Displays the private key password if available. Otherwise, the field is not displayed.
Fingerprint for this key Displays the unique identifier that is auto-generated against your SSL certificate within the application. A read-only value that cannot be edited or deleted.
