Overriding a map check-out

A company administrator (admin) or IBM Support can override (undo) the check-out that another user placed on a map. The Undo check out function is available when the user who checks out the map but not yet deployed.

About this task

Checking out a map allows the person who checked it out to upload changes. A company administrator (admin) or IBM Support might need to use the Undo check out function in the user interface in various scenarios. For example, if a map is checked out by one user but that user is not available and another user needs to revise the map.

Procedure

  1. In the Mapping page, click the Action options menu for the map check-out you want to reverse.
  2. From the Action options menu, select Undo check out.
    The Confirmation modal is displayed.
  3. Click Undo.
    The map check-out is reversed and any user can check it out.
