Version histories and PGP key assets

On the PGP key list page, select a PGP key to access its details, such as view the version histories and download the latest PGP key assets. If the PGP key is in the Work in progress status, select the Action options menu to view the version history.

Version histories

The Production and CTE tabs display the following information:

Field name Description
Version Displays the latest version of the PGP key. For both the tabs, a collapsible list of version histories is displayed. The list also displays the date and time of the version deployed and the name of the person who deployed the PGP key.
Note:
  • The latest deployed version carries the Live in production tag. For the variant type PGP key that is deployed in the CTE, the Live in CTE tag is applied.
  • The version that is not yet deployed to production, but deployed to CTE, carries the Currently in CTE tag.
  • The version previously deployed to production carries the Went to production tag.
Deployed to CTE (or Production) Displays the date and time stamps for deployment.
Modified by Displays the name of the person that deployed the PGP key.
Key type Displays the algorithm for the PGP key.
Note: This field is specific to only the system-generated PGP key process.
Key size (in bits) Displays the bit size for the PGP key.
Note: This field is specific to only the system-generated PGP key process.
Key description Displays the description for the PGP key.
PGP key assets Displays the PGP public key that you can download.
Passphrase Displays the passphrase for the PGP key. Click the view icon to view the passphrase.

Downloading PGP key assets

On the PGP key details page, you can access the Latest PGP key assets section on the left panel to download the latest PGP key assets. The section contains the latest version information and the corresponding assets, if available, such as the public and private keys. If the key is of the variant type, then the details for both the CTE and production environments are displayed separately.
Note: The PGP private key information is exposed only to an IBMer.
