315 - Status details (ocean)
This topic describes the Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) standards that Business Transaction Intelligence implements for document type 315, or ocean carrier shipment status message, which allows buyers and sellers track their shipment.

Semantic notes:
- The B403 code is the carrier line status.
- The B403 code description is the carrier line status reason.
- B404 is the Transaction Date field.
- If B403 is specified, B404 is also the Carrier Line Date field.
- If B403 is specified B405 is the Carrier Line Time field.
There are two codes in the B403 field that are interpreted to mean that the shipment has been delivered:
- D = Completed unloading at delivery location.
- X1 = Arrived at delivery location.
All other codes in the B403 field are interpreted to mean that the shipment remains in transit.
