Changing how data is mapped
You can use the BTI Document configuration tool under to create custom mappings of your EDI documents.
Individual custom partner configurations change the way a document type is mapped for a particular trading partner, while Universal configurations change the way a document type is mapped for all trading partners. You can have one Universal configuration per document type.
The current EDI Data location and Qualifier location of each UI field name is listed for the EDI document type you are modifying, along with a list of alternate mapping possibilities. To change the way your data is mapped, select a value from the list.
After you specify and save a custom value for a field, your configuration is saved for that trading partner.
See Configuring for more details.
