FTM high value payments works along with an existing FTM environment. Configuration data that is added to the models can be used to configure High Value Payments.

Involved Parties
FTM high value payments defines the following list of parties involved in the provided work flows:
Formats
FTM high value payments defines a number of formats that are used by mappers to specify the message domain, format, and type of a message. The formats also specify options that are used when the message is parsed.
Mappers
FTM high value payments provides a number of FTM mappers. The mappers are written in ESQL and are used to convert the specific payment scheme formats to and from ISF.
Channels
FTM high value payments defines a number of channels that are used to link the financial institution with the application, and the application with external services and the clearing and settlement mechanism (CSM).
Service Participants
FTM high value payments provides the following Service Participants for all external interfaces the application supports.
Scheduler tasks
FTM high value payments, provides a number of scheduler tasks to facilitate the monitoring of transactions and transmissions.
Configuration values
The high value payments applications are based on FTM. They need configuration data to be created in the FTM database.
