Receiving work
When it is time to perform Risk checking on a batch (ICL), the Transaction Server sends a WebSphere® MQ message to the incoming queue of the Risk Management engine. The Risk Management engine has a listener that listens on the WebSphere MQ message queues. The Risk Management listener port waits for requests to monitor from the Transaction Server.
On receipt of a request message, the Risk Management engine performs the following actions.
- Performs all of the risk checks that are defined for the partner who sent the batch (ICL).
- Performs the risk checks for the global monitors that match the transactions being processed.
